Burberry Prorsum: Womens S/S 2011 (Scoop Recap)

All The Scoop Media got the opportunity to watch the new Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2011 fashion show live (streamed from London), and it was amazing. Who would have thought Burberry can be so Punk/Rockstar-chic? The show started off with the models strutting on the runway wearing coat-dresses - many which had metallic studs on their collars and along their sleeves. Next were the leather jackets, which also incorporated the same element of metallic studs in their designs - these looks were accessorized with bright colored purses and belts. We got to see brilliant cocktail dresses with beautiful print, some which were all metallic colors themselves, layered with the leather jackets as well, and some which draped beautifully down the runway. The models did an amazing job walking in those tall pumps - although one model did fall down during the end of the show, she then took her pumps off and continued strutting down the catwalk while the audience applauded and cheered her on. Who would have thought Chris would make this Rockstar-chic appeal for Burberry - this is why we love Burberry, they're always giving us different fashion forward elements and keeping true to their aesthetic. The Prorsum Spring/Summer 2011 collection is available now at Burberry's website, where you can get your own leather studded jacket, until September 28, 2010. The leather studded jackets range anywhere between $6,000 - $10,000.
